BILL RACEK
In my three-plus decades living and working in the Colorado Mountains, I’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to architecture and design.
As a Telluride, Colo. Building Inspector (1981-1988), I developed an appreciation for the unique qualities of residential design in mountain mining communities. I then moved on to Mt. Crested Butte, Colo. where I served as the town’s Community Development Director for 22 years.
Since then I’ve been devoted to my own venture - Cinnamon Mountain Architecture - which allows me to use my wide breadth of experience to handle the architecture, design and engineering facets of residential and commercial projects.
When I'm not working I spend as much time outside as possible, from skiing and mountain biking to walking the dogs with my lovely wife Corky. And my never-ending passion project - a 1957 Austin Healy - keeps me busy in the garage and out cruising the beautiful Colorado countryside.
